“I don’t think I can recall a single moment in my life when I didn’t have drumsticks in my hands or stuffed in my jeans pockets! I’m a versatile drummer, 20 years old, and I’m particularly passionate about death metal and thrash metal. I spend most of my time blasting on iconic metal tracks!
Currently, I’m the drummer for metal bands like Godiva (from Portugal), Aetheris and Hole In The Frame (from Italy), with which I’ve performed on international stages, playing in clubs, theaters, and festivals across Europe, and bringing my energy to the stage. I’ve had the opportunity to open for notable bands like Morbid Angel, Rotting Christ, and My Dying Bride, etc…
I enjoy developing my double bass technique applied to death and thrash metal, and I’ve managed to reach up to 230/240 bpm thanks to the techniques of George Kollias and Pete Sandoval. I’ve learned the main metal drumming techniques, such as swivel, blast beats, groove, chops, and syncopation, from my teachers Claudio “Claus” Tirincanti (Blaze Bayley) and George Kollias (Nile). I’ve also refined my skills by attending various international masterclasses and drum camps (Lab Drum Camp in Greece and Palazzuolo Sul Senio Drum Camp) with renowned drummers like Mike Mangini, Thomas Lang, Sebastian Lanser, Krimh, Claus Hessler, Anika Nilles, Gergo Borlai, Keith Karlock, Larnell Lewis, Ash Soan, Stanton Moore, Baard Kolstad, and Chris Coleman!
The bands that inspire me drumming-wise are Death, Cynic, Morbid Angel, Atheist, Cannibal Corpse, In Flames, Gojira, Lamb Of God, Arch Enemy, Leprous, Sleep Token, Poppy, Neobliviscaris, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Pantera.
I’m also a drummer for Rockin1000, a project I’ve been part of since its start in 2016. Thanks to this, I’ve played in stadiums like Cesena, Florence, Frankfurt, and Milan Linate, and even at the foot of Mount Blanc! When I can, I also play bass guitar and compose my own music.
I’m studying mechanical engineering because, deep down, everyone dreams of crossing America on Route 66 by motorcycle!
But above all, my dream is to keep playing Painkiller and Spirit Crusher all around the world…! “
